| Some
tips on learning to drive - advice is often free - be sure it's true! |
| NEW DRIVER PROBATIONARY PERIOD |
Be careful - if you get
6 POINTS in the first TWO YEARS of driving you will loose
your full licence and have to take both your Theory and
Driving test again. On average this happens to 1200 people
every month!
|
| YOUR DRIVING TEST |
A lot of people become over cautious
- drive as a person who has passed their test - show you
have the ability and confidence to drive. Contrary to
popular belief EXAMINERS do not have a daily or weekly
quota of people to Pass or Fail - if you're good enough
and show it then you should be fine.

| CHEAPER INSURANCE |
If you do the PASS PLUS
course you really could save an
awful lot of money on your insurance. Look at the links
page to find out more!

|
| DRIVING TEST TIMES |
I know some of these times
look strange - this is because the Driving Test used
to
last 35 minutes - 7 minutes were added resulting in 42
minutes - not great for rounding off the hours. We
now have 'staggered' tests! - we now have 14 tests
in a day instead of 7.

| PRACTICE BETWEEN LESSONS |
Only practice with others
when your instructor says you are ready. Bare in
mind
they should be over 21 and have driven for 3 years. Make
sure the car is insured for you as a learner.
