| WHEN YOU CAN TAKE YOUR THEORY TEST |

You can take your THEORY TEST
as soon as you have your Provisional Licence - after passing
you then have two years to pass your DRIVING TEST - which normally
should be plenty of time!
You'll need your licence for the test.

| THE MULTIPLE CHOICE SECTION |
|
This is done first and lasts for
57 minutes (...I guess you'd call it nearly an hour). You will have 50 multiple choice questions - the
pass mark is 43
|
| THE HAZARD PERCEPTION SECTION |
|
You will watch 14 video clips
about a minute long - as soon as you see a developing hazard
you need to clicking the mouse.
There are 15 situations in the clips. A maximum of 5 points
is given for each hazard depending on the timing - the maximum
score is 75 -
the pass score is 42. You will get your result at the end of
your test. |
